The Scene with Sir Bobby Robson at 30:23 is a good example of how we would use the screen, with the subject to the left or right at a mid/close range. This shows the upper body and head with reasonable space around the subject. I like this frame as you are immediately drawn to the subject despite the space behind. This can also be seen at 3:21 with Andy Gray and 2:25 with Jack Hixon.
An alternative would be to shoot full on close to the subjects face like at 5:34 where half the screen is taken up by Alan Shearer's head.
